Pawzler is dishwasher safe. After taking it out of the dishwasher, rinse with warm water to get rid of any potential residue. Cats have a sensitive sense of smell, so a lingering soap scent can put them off.

Tips to make Pawzler last longer:

Cats learn best through curiosity, so introduce Pawzler gently. Start with a few treats or pieces of kibble in easy spots so your cat gets an early win, and play together while they figure it out. Keep sessions short. If your cat starts biting or clawing at the toy, swatting it around, or showing other signs of frustration like tail flicking or walking away, make it easier by placing a treat where they can reach it. You can also put the toy away and try again later when your cat is relaxed and curious.

Pawzler is a puzzle, not a toy to bite, scratch, or kick. Keeping it that way helps it last longer and, more importantly, keeps your furry friend safe. Once all the treats have been found, put the toy away so it doesn't become a scratching or biting target.

Also, check Pawzler regularly for damage and remove any broken parts. If something breaks, you don't need to buy a whole new set, because each pawzle is individually replaceable (check out the shop).
